Privacy policy
Last updated: September 2026. We keep this site simple: no accounts for visitors, no advertising trackers, and no selling of data.
Race results we publish
This site republishes race results that the Pikes Peak Ascent and Pikes Peak Marathon have already made public: name, finishing time, splits, bib, age or age group, gender, division placings and the hometown reported at the time of the race. We do not publish addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth or medical information.
If you are listed in the archive and would like your entry corrected or removed, contact us and we will handle the request promptly.
Messages you send us
When you use the contact form we store the name, email address, subject and message you submit so that we can reply. We use it for nothing else, never sell it, and delete it once the conversation is finished.
Visit statistics
We record basic, aggregate visit information: which page was viewed and when, the referring site, your browser and device type, and an approximate location (country, region, city) derived from your network connection. A random identifier is stored in your browser so repeat visits are not double-counted. We do not store full IP addresses and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookies, local storage and your consent
On your first visit we ask whether you accept analytics storage. If you accept, we save a random visit identifier in your browser and count page views as described above. If you decline, nothing is stored for analytics and no visit is recorded. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie choices" link in the footer.
Strictly necessary storage is always used: your dashboard preferences, and a session cookie for administrators who sign in. There are no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Service providers
The site and its database are hosted on managed cloud infrastructure. Those providers process data only to operate the service on our behalf. Race data is fetched from the official public results archive.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion of your contact message or archive entry at any time. Clearing your browser storage removes the visit identifier. Children under 13 should not send us messages without a parent.
